You have decided to sell or buy a home!

This is both an exciting and emotional time. From the thrill of the hunt for your first home or your forever home to the excitement of making and closing the deal, it can be an overwhelming experience.

First, you need to pick your realtor, this process can also be exciting and emotional.

As the client you begin the dialogue, the key to success is finding an agent that fits with you and your needs and wants.

Your agent should have great communication skills, reliable experience, and strong market knowledge.

Keep in mind though everyone has access to technology and the means to find you a “house”.

A great agent will listen to you pay attention to this, it takes a human to understand your wants and to find you a “Home”

Your agent needs to be able to negotiate and speak to others, they are working on behalf of your best interests to help you achieve your end goal. They are there to market your home, not themselves.

Do not be afraid to ask questions, be upfront about your expectations and they should be upfront and honest about achieving those expectations.

Interview a few agents and choose the one that you feel right about- chemistry is the key! If your gut says it's right and you have made that connection you have chosen the right agent.
